One year left after release of sensational single of Crazy Astronaut – “So Damn Tough” which took a one of the leading places in heavy weight category among dancing hits of the expiring year. But now a time for the new champion has come.

The new single of young genius Crazy Astronaut - "Funky Shit 2014" was released on Moscow based label How2make, and representing by itself an unprecedented earlier mix of dancing electronic genres.

This tune sounds exactly like the soundtrack for a Holywood action movie where a huge mechanical monster breaks his chain and completely destroys everything that comes across on its way, scaring everyone with his size and unearthly speed. Ice whirlwind of absolutely unpredictable synthesizer melodies which are a signature of Crazy Astronaut as well as weighty quick rhythm section gives a royal grace to this mad beast. Absolutely new sounding, thus the same integral elements which can be heard in others tracks of CA could be found here.

As well as in the previous single “So Damn Tough”, in “Funky Shit 2014” the thin line passes a hint on a musical background of the artist. In both compositions it is possible to hear the quotes of representatives of a gold era of hip-hop - Beastie Boys and Kurtis Blow.

Прошел год, после нашумевшего сингла Crazy Astronaut - So Damn Tough, который занял уверенную позицию в тяжелой весовой категории среди танцевальных хитов уходящего года. Но настало время для нового чемпиона.

Новый сингл Funky Shit 2014, молодого гения Crazy Astronaut вышел на московском лейбле How2make, и представляет из себя невиданную ранее смесь танцевальных электронных жанров.

Именно так бы звучал саундтрек к голливудскому боевику, где сорвавшийся с цепи гигантский механический монстр, бесследно уничтожает все, что попадается на его пути, поражая своими масштабами и неземной скоростью. Абсолютно новое звучание, при этом все те же неотъемлемые элементы, которые можно встретить в каждом треке CA - увесистая, но при этом, очень проворная ритм секция, и ледяной вихрь совершенно непредсказуемых синтезаторных мелодий, которые являются фирменным знаком Crazy Astronaut и предают королевского изящества этому безумному монстру.

Так же, как и в предыдущем сингле So Damn Tough, в Funky Shit 2014 тонкой линией проходит намек на музыкальный бэкграунд артиста. В обоих композициях можно слышать цитаты представителей золотой эры хип-хопа - Beastie Boys и Кертиса Блоу.
